This collection consists of images, text, vector graphics and site records from an archaeological evaluation by Colchester Archaeological Trust, of land west of Sydena, Lambs Lane, Lawshall, Suffolk, from November to December 2020. Three of the seven layers formed the general stratigraphy of the site (the topsoil, subsoil and natural clay), while the remainder were associated with or in close proximity to a metalled surface that sloped down to the north of the site. These layers contained finds of an 18th-19th century date, but the presence of earlier, residual, finds dating to the prehistoric...

This collection comprises the site records, pottery data, and photographic archive from an archaeological trial trench evaluation at Oatleys Farm, Buckinghamshire, in February-March 2021. The trial trench investigation identified the remains of a pit alignment of probable late prehistoric date. This collection comprises images and a site phasing index from an open-area excavation by Albion Archaeology at Welford Road, Leicestershire from October to November 2015. It has been possible to determine a chronological sequence of six phases of activity, based largely on the stratigraphic relationships between features. However, as was the case during the evaluation, the dating of individual features and phases has been problematic due to the small and undiagnostic finds assemblage and the inconsistent correlation between the radiocarbon determinations and the phasing.

This collection comprises the reports, site drawings, animal bone recording data and photographic archive from archaeological recording of an excavation at Calvert Depot, Calvert Cutting, Buckinghamshire, WPD Mitigation (1C18IMDAR). The excavation and the evaluation demonstrated the presence of a Roman field system that may have continued in the medieval period, and it is highly likely that this is associated with a settlement.
